You can rid yourself of much of your stress by using these easy to follow tips to reducing stress in your life.
#1 What are the real causes of your stress? Write them down so you can reflect on them in your diary or a journal.
#2 Jot down in your journal your stress triggers and how you could deal with them and when they occur.Plan ahead so next time a trigger occurs you are prepared.
#3 Next time you feel stress happening slow down, then reflect a little on why you feel stressed and then react accordingly.
#4 Your confidence will grow massively if you forget past failures and challenges and only focus on the future which you can change. Remember forget your past problems and look forward to a brighter future.
#5 Always hope for the best in any situation this will help you approach each day and every task with a positive frame of mind.
#6 Don’t assume you are alone having problems.Remember many people have less money than you, are not as well physically as you and need your help. Helping others can help you feel good about yourself.
#7 Slow deep breathing I find can help with lowering your stress levels. It helps create an inner calm and lowers your heartbeat.
#8 Keep things that are special and beautiful in your life, plants and flowers can be especially soothing. Some people find reading helps or even music.
#9 Pamper yourself with a bath with warm aromatic oils and scented candles. Or why not visit a spa for day and have a massage and a few body treatments to really help you chill out.
#10 Share the things that worry you with a close friend or relative but be sure they won’t discuss your affairs with others first.
#11 Don’t end up a hermit, spend time with family and friends when possible and go out to bars, restaurants and other social events. If time allows spend an extended vacation with family.
#12 Stay tidy - Make sure you keep your home your work space and your car tidy as this will help you feel positive about yourself and stop feeling your life is a mess.
#13 Should you have concerns about your health, wellbeing or even your sexual performance seek advice or counselling at an early stage your doctor will be happy to help.
#14 What ever else don’t end up feasting on junk foods and take aways. By eating the right foods you’ll reduce your stress levels and stay healthy. Don’t skip meals if work pressure stops you eating at meal times. Just get food ready in advance and enjoy an occasional meal out with friends.
#15 Never put off tasks which you are not looking forward to . Rarely will you find the doing something is as bad as the anticipation of an event you are dreading. Start the day early with a walk and get dressed even when you are not going to work.
